When you share your audio file, we’ll ask for a brief description (it might be three words, like “cactus wren call”) and information like where it was recorded and when. Within a week of uploading your audio you’ll get a message from us about how to access the commons database.
There’s no limit to the number of recordings you can upload and there’s no expected recording length. Audio could be a ten-second phone recording in your kitchen or a ten-minute original mix - any sound that speaks to a particular place or moment by your definition.
